Have been a lot of concerns raised about this an its effect on single parent families since so many of those are headed by women. I know of four people who lost their jobs in the last two weeks. Three women, one man. I don’t think that is enough to go on re: supporting the premise of the article but there you have it.
How can a country that speaks about being exceptional make choices that fail and worsen circumstances and options for so many children? Talk about inside the beltway having a disconnect, and it’s not like these stories aren’t in DC.
